Campaign Details

How Recognition Works

Employees across your organization are encouraged to submit patient safety recognitions that demonstrate proactive action, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Who Can Submit

Any employee, physician, clinician, volunteer, or leader who observes an individual demonstrating outstanding commitment to patient safety.

How to Submit

Nominations should describe the safety initiative, the actions taken, and how those actions improved safe patient care practices.

Recognition

Eligible nominations are acknowledged, and selected individuals receive formal recognition during campaign events or organizational communications.

Selection Process

How Honorees Are Selected

Review Process

Nominations are reviewed by the Think Pink Patient Safety Committee. All submissions will be de-identified to ensure an objective review process.

Selection Committee

The committee includes clinical (CNOR) representatives as well as organizational leadership.

Selection Criteria

Honorees are evaluated based on commitment to patient safety, proactive risk identification, solutions, teamwork, innovation, and measurable impact.

Recognition & Celebration

Honorees may receive certificates, commemorative awards, digital recognition, or celebration during Think PINK campaign activities.

Timeline

Nominations open on September 1^st 2026
Deadline to submit nominations ends on December 31^st 2026
Patient Safety Awards will be announced early February 2027
